Sequences Unit Second

Set of twelve distinct, more sophisticated than Unit First, but still easy to play miniatures emanated from different then standard sequential harmonic solutions. In some pieces the melody line was composed firstly and later harmonised. In others chords naturally out-coming in such sequential approach to harmony, are written as arpeggios and arranged in progressions. Sometimes melody is created from the chosen chord’s elements. In whole unit the following notes result from individual method of consonance creation. The above process yet still based on traditional keys, is divergent from common tertian, but always consistent way of chords creation. Interestingly, contrary to standard sequence’s method numbered by ‘three’, that is opened, some of sequences are closed, namely only a strict number of components is permitted.
